Getting involved
Introduction
We're very proud of the Infinity Works Academy and all the programmes we provide. While it might sound like a cliché, we couldn't run them without the wider involvement of everyone at Infinity Works. We really do need people to get involved and help out in a number of ways.
The most valuable role we encourage people to try their hand at is that of an Academy Instructor (or Academy Lead), for any of the courses that we provide. The instructor role is pivotal to delivering a great programme; having someone with great knowledge and skills in their subject, and with the energy and enthusiasm to share this with others is what brings the programmes to life and makes them such a valuable and memorable experience for the learners. While the role of an instructor is different to what you may experience day-to-day as a software engineer or consultant, there is a great deal of overlap, and trying your hand at being an instructor will hugely enhance your consultancy skills too. Teaching and coaching are at the very heart of what we do as consultants, so it is no surprise that many consultants are, or become, great instructors as well. If you would like to find out more about how to become an instructor, please read our why become an instructor page.
There are plenty of other ways to get involved with the Academy programme without becoming an instructor. For example, Associate Career Mentors are also hugely important to the success of the programme.
